Well, because I'm a writer, one would think I'm fantastic at coming up with funny material. You couldn't be more wrong.
Here is my entry. It fit both medicine and writing and is incredibly stupid:
What did one Y Pestis say to the other?
Stop copying me, that's Plagurism!
(Some are asking me Y Pestis is, it's a bacteria that causes infections including the bubonic plague)

Clarissa - LOL! Oh, that's a great joke. Maybe it's the linguist in me, but I find that really funny. And of course, the writer in me loved the plagiarism reference. Thanks :-).
ReplyDeleteI'm giggling, but I'm not sure I get it...which somehow makes me giggle more!
ReplyDeleteVicki has me cracking up!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in the blogfest!
Ha, ha. Wish I could say I got this right away, but I'm having a blonde moment.
ReplyDeleteFunny!
ReplyDeleteI'm a dope and don't get the references but appear to be the only one! Could that be true? I'm not entering the contest but will give you a joke:
ReplyDeleteA cowboy goes into a strange town. He stops at the saloon and notices that there's no one there but the old bartender. He asks the guy where everyone has gone.
The bartender says, "Wellll, we had us a visitor. A guy came into the saloon earlier wearing a paper bag shirt, a paper bag pair of pants and a paper bag stetson. He has been hauled out by the sheriff and everyone is at the hanging."
The cowboy asks, "Why are you hanging him?"
The bartender replies, "Rustling."
