Also, I splurged and bought two notebooks from moleskine. What a lovely site that is. Buying notebooks is like a drug for me and I'm addicted. I bought the London notebook and the 2012 mini daily planner. I'm super excited to receive it in the post.

Clarissa - I'm so very glad you enjoyed the ballet! My first experience with the ballet was The Nutcracker Suite and I still remember it many years later...

DL has a great voice. And Mason's has so much personality!

I've always wanted to see Swan Lake. I grew up going to the Nutcracker every year, and I miss it (somehow, as the only female in my house, the ballet just doesn't happen any more).

ah, for a second I thought we are having ballet auditions. Contrary to popular opinion I really don't look good in a tutu!

ReplyDeleteBallet is beautiful - but what astounded me when I first went to see a show was how the dancers land with an oomph as in I could hear them land!! I always thought they were completely light and airy!!

Have you ever seen Black Swan? I watched it this weekend. Natalie Portman is the "Swan Queen".

You know, the fact that crowds would be a reason to avoid the ballet altogether has never been a problem I would associate with attending such a function. That's my life lesson for the day.

Despite being a ballet dancer, I haven't actually seen a ballet in years . . . the last one I saw was The Nutcracker, which I was in. :P
