I signed up for this challenge because I want 2012 to be a year of writing. If this goes well, I hope to write 1000 words all 365 days. However, I'm getting ahead of myself. To join me for this wonderful challenge: click here.

I have a great idea for this year. Not only will I get to post every day of the month, I'm hoping to get a publishable book out of it. More information to come. Join the challenge!
I also plan to read more in 2012 (not that the 53 books I read in 2011 are anything to laugh at) but along with all my fellow blogger's upcoming novels, I want to broaden my reading horizons. To join the challenge, click here.

Thanks for plugging the A to Z Challenge. Going to be another awesome year. And I think I need to sign up for that first one. Especially now that I have an idea for my next book!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all these challenges!!! Enjoy and have fun with them! Take care

Those are great goals!
ReplyDeleteI'm half-tempted to sign up for the first one too. I do want to write more next year. And I'm hoping to have a publishable book from the A to Z Challenge too (A to Z Flashes of Foxwick). :)
Good luck with your goals!
Clarrisa, you have some wonderful goals and I hope you accomplish all if them. Have a great New Year!!
ReplyDeleteI just signed up for the 100k100days challenge and am planning on A to Z Challenge. Thanks for posting about these - new follower :)
ReplyDeleteThese are powerful impressive goals and I wish you all the best towards them.
ReplyDeleteMay 2012 be a year of success, joy and all good things for you.
You Go Girl! I'll be very happy to get 100K for the year. My schedule, work/work, does not allow more than a couple hours writing time a day, But I'm trying to use it wisely.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with these amazing challenges. I'm sure you'll meet any goals you set. Wishing you and your family a safe, joyous and Happy New Year.

Thoughts in Progress
Impressive goals. I would love to sign up for the first challenge, but I would fall short. Family obligations, i.e., running with children, volunteering at their school etc., would prevent me from achieving the 1000 word a day goal. Best of luck in the New Year.
ReplyDeleteShould I enter the A to Z challenge? Ugh...it sounds like soooo much work. Maybe? I dunno. Hrrrmmm
ReplyDeleteThat 100K thing in 100 days sounds hard too. LOL. I'm so lazy.
Best of luck with your challenges! You're setting yourself some big targets but I'm sure you'll get there!Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteGreat challenges. I'm not able to sign up for any.
ReplyDeleteHowever:
If all goes well, I'm hoping to start late and finish at least on time with the 100K in 100 days.
I will try to blog to the appropriate letter during April on M/W/F, but I'm going to be doing a lot during that month, including taking a short blog break, and won't have time participate fully. So call me A-Z-ish.
I am definitely broadening my reading horizons since I got my Kindle Fire, but I don't want to lock myself into anything just yet. I'm having too much fun doing it my way.
Does all this mean I have a fear of commitment?
I like the 1,000 word challenge. I just might give that one a try. I need a little kick-in-the-pants to get moving on a couple of projects I have going on!
ReplyDeleteI like your goals. I'm wishing both of us much luck. :)

I'm taking the A to Z plunge this year! *GULP*
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! :)
It's been a long time since I wrote that many words a day consistently. And I am all set for next year's A to Z.
ReplyDelete53 books, that' s an amazing number, Clarissa :) That's more than one a week :)
ReplyDeleteSo much to accomplish in 2012. I'm considering the A to Z challenge. Still up in the air.
ReplyDeleteI wish you the best of luck as you pursue each and every one of your goals.
I'll have to check out 100k in 100 Days--it sounds like a great challenge!
ReplyDeleteI'm participating in the A-Z April Challenge, too. Looking forward to it!
Happy New Year. :)
Clarissa - It sounds as though you've got some solid goals for the year! I wish you well achieving them and I hope you'll post reviews of what you read...
ReplyDelete1k per day?!?! Wow! That would be quite the achievement! hehe. In 2012 I think I'm going to avoid "aiming" for 100k, 'cause I did that in 2011. I'll just say "write this novel in November" and so on ;)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the A-Z challenge this year, it's going to be so fun!
Excellent Clarissa. Sounds like 2012 will be time well spent for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Clarissa .. good luck with your goals .. I'll be doing the A - Z in April ..
ReplyDeleteCheers and Happy New Year - Hilary
Wow! You are going to be busy. Good luck with the challenges you have set for yourself.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Great challenges! I'm doing Write1Sub1 this year. I'll see ya at A to Z!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your goal... just stopping by to wish you a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year. So many challenges. I really want to concentrate on writing more in 2012. I did not start blogging until after the A-Z challenge last year, but I will not miss it this year
ReplyDeleteUmmmm....when do you plan to sleep? All looks exciting. I am going to look into the 100k in 100 days. thanks
ReplyDeleteWishing you success with your goals, Clarissa. Wondering if I'll have time to do the challenge. I did come up with some writing tips each day, so I'm wondering what I'll do this time around. You have me thinking.
ReplyDeleteI joined the Global Reading Challenge as well that's how I landed on your blog.
ReplyDeleteIt isn't possible to follow your blog by email btw. It does give the error message: "The feed does not have subscriptions by email enabled", so I think you should change something in your settings.
You have quite a bit of goals in this year. The 100K sounds a cool one as well! Good luck with everything!
