Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A few days ago, I called out for beta readers or critiquers. The response was overwhelming.

Thank you!

I now have all I need.

However, when many found out I only wanted some short stories critiqued and not a novel, they lamented that their offering for exchange was longer. Technically, it's not fair. But, I don't care! I would love to read whatever you want to send me, no matter the length. That being said, it will take a bit longer to return to you than will a short, but if you're willing to wait, I'm willing to help.

Can't wait to work with you all.

  7. Knew you'd have lots of offers! When I put out my request for help over a year ago, I was also overwhelmed. This community is awesome.

  8. Beta readers are hard to come by. It's good that you found some to satisfy your need. I'm really liking the Sholes Key (it's moving along nicely). I love a good mystery and the whole autism angle the lady uses to befriend her target is something I'd never seen before.

  9. I love what you're doing here, Clarissa, and it's one more way that blogging can help an emerging writer. Exchanging critiques is a fantastic way to learn to be the best writer you can be. I see too many writers hire an expensive editor too soon. You save a lot of time and money by learning everything you can from your peers first. I've blogged about that today.
