I noticed on one of my book reviews that one reviewer wished she could see all the codes. I thought the codes had been included in the book (including Kindle version), but I guess not. So, on my side bar, I've placed a link to the codes. Also, I will place them down below. Have fun solving them.

Ahhh!!! Am I going to need these codes when I read your book on vacation??? I will have no internet connection on the boat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, especially for those with an analytical brain who like to decode. The great thing is your book is awesome, whether you want to codebreak, or not!
ReplyDeleteNow when is the next one coming out? I'm eagerly awaiting it. :)
Codes! Clever girl. I bet they just weren't in the eBook version. I'll have to refer back to them when I read it since I have the eBook version.
ReplyDeleteAll right just checked my version and I didn't see codes.
Um...no. I won't even bother. haha. I'm so not a code cracker!
ReplyDeleteNow this sounds like really good fun. Sooo tempting. But I'm against the clock to finish my WIP so I can apply for a copyright before we go on holiday the end of June.
ReplyDeleteOoh, now I'm majorly intrigued. I need to figure this out too. ;D Thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteNo! Numbers! My head hurts! Oh but how wonderful! Yay! take care

*blushes* Thank you! I'm a visual person, so this would've helped (the story was still pretty awesome even without seeing them like that). I never saw them in my Kindle edition.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see any codes on my version. Which I will get to this weekend!
ReplyDeleteOoo fun! I think even it they had been in the ebook version have a copy you can look at on the side is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWow. You have such a brilliant mind to come up with these for your character Sophia. I bet there's a lot of you in her.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow, this is really cool! Now I'm even more excited to get my copy. I needs to get here fast so I can read it.
ReplyDeleteWhile I love reading books with codes, and I've cracked a few in the past, I think my brain has slowed down and I'm not as sharp as I used to be ;)
ReplyDeleteYes! Thank you :)
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing! I'm still doing my taxes, though (long story) so my head hurts from numbers, but I do like the concept...brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this, Clarissa. Now that I'm out of my editing cave, it's on my list!

ReplyDeleteOh, thanks, Clarissa! Folks, read this book if you haven't!!
ReplyDeletethat's overly complicated for my little penguin brain... :)
ReplyDeleteThis is why, if I was a character in the Da Vinci Code, the book would have ended after chapter 1. I am not good at codes!
ReplyDeleteI gotta tell you, I've read through the conversations where Sophie is explaining this stuff to Theo, but only skimmed 'cause I know my brain can't absorb that stuff. lol. I lift my hat to you though. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteI love that you've worked them all out! I am lousy starting from scratch, but I love being able to look at and solve (or confirm) the work with the sleuth. Glad I know where to find them, as i HAVE your book, but haven't quite gotten to it yet!
ReplyDeleteI can no way follow your incredible mind with this. I think you're a genius! For anyone reading my comment, you don't have to understand the codes to enjoy the mystery of The Sholes Key. It was great!
ReplyDeleteLove codes, will play. Sounds like a great idea having them in the book too though, makes the story interactive - maybe you could upload a new version with them at the back? It's good to have something a bit different to attract readers. :)
ReplyDeleteThis was a rather cryptic post.

ReplyDeleteHi Clarissa. Just wanted to let you know I have a new item on my blog and you are one of the first bloggers to feature on it! Hope you can drop by some time...
ReplyDeleteHi Clarissa .. I do so want to read your book .. and I'll be hopeless at the code breaking, but will enjoy looking and almost certainly being completely spaced out and not comprehending!
ReplyDeleteJust love the title The Scholes Key - it's a great 'catcher' ..
Cheers Hilary
I read the Kindle version and never gave a thought to the codes being shown. Thank goodness you don't need to be a codebreaker to enjoy the book - phew. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved it and am eagerly awaiting the next. When is it due?
